The Universe through my telescope IV

As it has been quite sometime since I posted an article, I thought the best way to restart would be to write the next part of the most popular series of articles in my blog "The Universe through my telescope" (yup! that's what the stats say). And what better photo to post than that of the majestic planet, Saturn.

Incidentally, this is the best photo of Saturn that I have clicked to date using my telescope. Though I haven't posted this photo before, you can see the magnified version in the header of my blog.

Here is the photo. For the first time, the rings around the planet can be seen clearly and the main planetary body also looks spherical!

And here is the original photo...

The photo was clicked using my cellphone camera through the eyepiece of my 130mm equatorial mount reflector telescope.

If you want to see the other pictures of Saturn that I had previously clicked, check out The Universe through my telescope and The Universe through my telescope II
